Consider Me Edjumacated

The importance of involvement...interesting enough. This topic reminds me of the kids in the class during role call: "Bueller......Bueller......Bueller"

Not only does it not matter what I think about the importance of becoming and remaining active in politics, what matters less is what you think I think about the importance of becoming and remaining active in politics. You follow? I know, its Friday. I'll try not to babble.

Ok in all seriousness, McCain slept with that lobbyist.  Alright I lied...I don't really know.

Ok for real this time.  I believe that knowledge is power.  The more you know, the less surprised you are when the fecal matter collides with the rotating propeller.  Because it all comes down to The Golden Rule.  These humans ( I say humans because I think we place these figures on pedestals that they can never live up to. Humans make mistakes. Some humans can't speak in public, even leaders...and some humans get kinky with cigars. I'm not naming names of course..you get what I'm saying) spend millions just for you to hear their voice.   Their character and politics and values and morals, essentially, mean nothing.  They have the money and they are going to be leaders of the country whether you like it or not.  Just ask Jeb Bush, and the people from Florida who are still counting the votes from the 2000 election.

Conclusively inconclusively, I think it is important to educate yourself.  It is important to know the system, and the people behind the curtain.  But take it with a grain of salt, and enjoy the ride.

And it is with this post that I wholeheartedly agree.

You should go and comment prettily on this blog: http://abortioninpolitics.blogspot.com/2008/02/interesting-or-not.html

You and the writer of that one have completely opposing opinions and it would be interesting to see what kind of dialog you two could have.

Hahaha actually, this blog and the one I posted aren't very different. I think you may have been fooled dear vita brevis. He starts out by saying it's not important what you or he (or anyone else for that matter) "thinks". But he does say a lot about the importance of being educated. Alas, we think the same! And we have great conversations. :)

But thanks for reading my blog.
